About Jimmy Reader

Jimmy Reader brings 40 years of pastoral experience to his work as a church consultant. Since 2004 he has worked with over 25 congregations, including Methodist, Presbyterian, and Baptist churches, to help them work through conflict and learn new skills for being healthy congregations. He is the author of 3 books, most recently Moral Values: What I Learned Growing Up in Church.

He holds the M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary. With his wife, Joy Bergfalk, he co-directs a not-for-profit organization, Life Listening Resources, where people learn how to listen to life in order to be more spiritually-centered, compassionate, respectful, empowered, and integrated.
